SCE Graduate Student Prize in Computational Economics

The Society of Computational Economics, in cooperation with the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Geneva, announces its sponsorship of a contest for outstanding research manuscripts in computational economics done by graduate students. The following rules apply:
  1. The contest is open to graduate students worldwide working on any aspect of computational economics.

  2. There will be three prizes awarded, but only for submissions judged worthy by the jury.

  3. The prize is $1,000.

  4. Award winning submissions may also be eligible for publication in Computational Economics, or in the Journal of Economics Dynamics and Control, the journals of the Society.

  5. Manuscript submissions must be recieved by March 1, 1997.

  6. Submissions must be accompanied by a letter from the student's department chair certifying graduate student status as of March 1, 1997.

  7. The manuscript and letter are to be sent to:
